The attorney told police a man gave him the truck as part of the fee for legal services, then came back to ask to borrow the truck. He has refused to return the truck.

Household goods, a TV and other property were reported stolen from an Avenue H apartment between June 28 and Tuesday. Someone kicked in the door and took the property.

A woman reported prescription medication stolen Tuesday afternoon from her residence in the 1000 block of Randall Street.

Someone stole a spare tire and siphoned 120 gallons of diesel fuel from a truck parked at a business in the 1700 block of Grand Avenue. The driver left the truck there at the end of a run Saturday and discovered the theft Wednesday.

A green 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier was reported stolen from an auto sales lot in the 2800 block of East Meighan Boulevard about 1 p.m. Tuesday after a man came in asking if he could listen to the car’s engine.
